This is my second DK hat. This one is like Kathleen Sperlings' pattern, but I didn't put earflaps and ended it in ribbing instead. I had to learn to do K1, P1 ribbing in the round in DK. Actually pretty easy. :)
This one is also Wool-Ease in blush pink heather and medium blue heather.

Good gravy, that's easy? It looks really hard, but very pretty and warm.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the hat.

Debkcs, the ribbing was pretty easy once I got that far. Doing the first DK hat like this, having to start at the top, learn a new cast on, do increases on each side, and get a handle on the DK was really hard. But now that I know it isn't that bad. :-)

GinnyG, a class in this would be a great help. Go, and have a lot of fun.

Evona, the hat isn't perfect. Where I change needles with the dpns the stitch looks a little big each time, and I can't seem to correct it. And I made a couple of mistakes on the pattern. I was able to fix them so that they aren't very noticable-- with duplicate stitch. I'm still learning, and that's for sure. I worked the hat with the pink side out. On the top where the increases are it actually looks a little better on the blue side, and I am a bit amazed by that.
