Do you still need knitters for Rainbow Sherbert & Purpalicious? If so, put me on them. If they are filled, you can add me to 2 other open spots.:knitting:

Purplicious arrived today, and I started my section on it tonight. It was perfect timing too, as I was just eliminated from the Iron Knitter competition 2 days ago, so no pressure from that, and all the free time I have to knit can be spent on the blanket!

I finished my section on Purplicious last night while watching a 4 hr long movie. It is ready for the last knitter!
I will get pics of it before it gets sent out for sure, I just can't do it today as I have a migraine and can't focus properly.

Velveteen Rabbit went out today. Remember it is coming from FL, so may take an extra day or two to get to IL.

It has been fun ladies- moving into the Southeast Charity knitting...

No one has posted for nearly a month, so I am curious. How are the blankets progressing?

Does anyone have any new photos of our lovely creations?

I have been holding some yarn for Pinkalicious for a long time, and I wondered if it will be coming to me anytime soon.

Hello All!
I have heard from quite a few of you, and thanks for that! But we are still MIA on the following blanket status:
Harrold and the Purple Crayon
Pinkalicious
Little Miss Muffet (preemie)
Bubblegum
I think I know where 2 are- Purplicious and Betsy Ross though I donít have confirmation.
This is the last call- IF YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE BLANKETS- PLEASE LET ME KNOW~I am going to give everyone until Sunday 9/26 and then I am going to call these MIA and we can start with new ones if people are still interested.
I think I have a few knitters that I know of who are interested, Please let me know if you are wanting to still knit with us. If you donít- let me know too. Itís no biggie- we all have life changes and maybe now isnít a good time. No one is going to be upset I just want everyone to be happy!!!
This Sunday I will post the new big Fall Push (sorry for the delay) so Letís get our knitting needles ready!

Maybe I should make this a Small Fall Shove?
We have one new blanket Pumpkin Patch that is being cast on by Cheryl1973 and Candy Corn (orange, yellow, brown and white) that I would like to fill. We need 4 more on Pumpkin Patch and 5 on Candy Corn (let me know if you want to cast on- I can send needles).
We are going to start a little slow as I want to fill spots before we all go hog wild and then we have too many started and not filled and moving.
Let me know if you are interested.

Tracie, I've already responded on Ravelry, but you can add me to either one or both, if they can contain brown. I have some Simply Soft brown that I would like to get out of my yarn basket.

Tracie put me anywhere! I would be happy to cast on as well. I have an overabundance of fall colors and I am ahead of schedule with my Christmas knitting!

Post #5 and the blog have been updated. The old blankets are archived since some are MIA and I have no clue where they are.

If you do know the location of a blanket, please let me know.

Thanks Tracie! The blankets were for charity anyway, but they have ended up going to a different charity than we intended, I guess. :teehee:

Hello!
Just to clarify- many of the blankets listed above are accounted for.
We have to date knit on 45 blankets- a total of 6 have been MIA- 3 this year and 3 last year. There are two that are at a home (which was confirmed at receipt) but I have not heard from this person. Some of the blankets above are in need of a border, which my Mom and I have been working on. Once that is complete, we will make the final donation from the MW group.
So, it has been decided since we have so few knitters, we are going to merge the MW group with the West group and Purlingkitten (http://www.knittinghelp.com/forum/member.php?u=28631) will be leading you all. More details to come as we manage this shift.
It has been a wild ride, but after two years it is time for me to move on along.
I wish you all the best!
