I just finished my uncle's birthday month scarf in Malabrigo worsted, merino wool in the color Vaa. I knitted the Catapillar Stich from the book, 365 Knitting Stitches a Year Perpetual Calendar. I chose that because he used to grow flowers in Oahu and was always outdoors. I also finsihed my best friend's baby's baby blanket in the basketweave stitch. When I started that project last August I didn't realize how long that project could be. I hope they're impressed but I know they'll appreciate.

I am sure that they are both lovely and will be happily recieved.
