View Full Version : Thanks For Caring

01-17-2009, 12:32 AM
I've received some PMs from some people who are concerned about my mental and physical health right now.

I just want to say thank you to those folks, and to say that I am ok. I'll survive this rough patch in my life and move on.

Tonight I visited some people I sort of know in an Applebee's in Wisconsin and got some hugs, kisses, and "how are ya?"s and felt pretty good about that.

It's kinda nice to be 1,300 miles away from home and find people who actually care about you. It's also nice in the same way to have people whom I have never actually met express concern about my health via a forum.

I'm doing ok despite everything and thank those who have expressed concern.

You've been in my prayers for many months now...ever since this past summer when your mom went through her surgery and especially during the last few weeks.

God is good. He will heal your hurts and make you whole again.

I will continue to pray for you...

So glad to read you are feeling better. My mother used to always say,"It is darkest before dawn," and our mama's don't lie. Just hang in there and slowly but surely the sun will once again shine upon you.

Yeah, sorry about that. With the slow economy I just couldn't afford to keep it.

I am currently working on setting something up through a free domain host. Will post the url once I get it up and running.

I haven't been keeping up with the boards that much, but I've read through some of your posts, and I just wanted to let you know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

 I am glad to hear from you!! And especially that you're doing alright. I haven't PM'd you, but I think of you and wonder how you are daily.

I have missed you around here, too!

Hi Mason. I'm new to the site but wanted to say that I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. We lost our mom in 2002. My brother is a truck driver also, and he is the only boy out of 3 children so I think we worry about him most because he was her favorite.;)

Drive safe! And I hope that the next time you are up here in Wisconsin that it's a bit warmer.:)

I too think of you daily and wonder how you are doing. I've missed seeing your posts about accidentally turning right into a bar instead of left into the church, etc. I've checked your webcam as well and could not get in so I gave you space and knew sooner or later you'd come home to us. Know that you are loved and cared for. The first year is the hardest. I am sure you will make it through but I still worry about you being on the road alone. Take care my friend and check in when you can!
