I just downloaded the pattern for this coat. It looked really cute, and I couldn't see any mention of difficulty level. When I started skimming through the pattern it was very confusing and daunting. It has charts, which is enough to scare me, but I really like the look of it. Has anyone knitted this pattern. I admit I haven't really sat down and tried to figure it out, but thought I would see if anyone else has tried it. Thanks.

Take it one step at a time. Don't try to look too far ahead because often directions are very hard to envision without the knitting in front of you.

When you get to a part that is confusing, then come back for help. There are lots of people here who would be happy to give you a nudge along!

Thanks for the encouragement...I have a couple of projects ahead of it, but I may give it a try. I'm sure I'll be back.
