New to knitting so I'm not sure if this is normal. But I've made two scarves but the ends and sides curl. Is this normal? How do I fix it so they actually look like scarves and not tubes? Thanks!

I'm assuming you are knitting in stockinette (knit one row, purl one row)? If so, then you definitely want to look at the thread Zina is pointing you to. If not, then it might just be an issue of getting your tension even, which takes practice.
