My step-granddaughter's birthday party was this past weekend. I had several things in progress for her, but none of them were close to completion. So, I went searching online for some quick-knit ideas.
I came up with a couple things, and took everything I would need to make them with me on vacation in the mountains.
First, I made these little slippers, using Lion Wool-ease Thick & Quick.

They only took about 30 minutes to make.

Next, I got to work on the bodice for a little sundress. When I finished the bodice, I cut fabric for a skirt, and sewed it on by hand. (I didn't want to take my sewing machine all the way to the mountains.) :teehee: I was still doing the hem and adding a butterfly patch as we drove to the party on the way back home from the mountains.
It turned out nice!

Quick and easy. :)
