Is anybody out there familair with the old Sorry I Haven't a Clue favourite Mornington Crescent?
I thought perhaps you might like to join me in a game. I think we can make do without the German Switchover rules - don't want things getting to complicated!

I'll start us off with Holborn

( am am using this tube map (http://www.propertyinvesting.net/cgi-script/csNews/image_upload/specialreports_2edb.London%20Tube%20Map.gif))

Never heard of this game, but then I am across the pond from any "tubes" as you call 'em.

Not knowing the rules, I'll phrase my reply in question form.

Would Chancery Lane be an acceptable next term?

P.S. Tarrentella, your name appears familiar to me. Have you ever been to the HP-Lex (http://www.hp-lexicon.org/forum/forum.html) Forum?

Here is the Wikipedia explanation

(although I am still not entirely sure, or even partly sure, on how to play)

I read the Wiki too- and was like "WHAT?" It sounds like something I would love though!

Since there aren't any rules, this side of the Pond or the other, I think Tarrentella already won by writing "Mornington Crescent".

I have absolutely not won. OK so it is a little obscure, but just follow on and see where you go.

Of Jumps Jack made a very good choice with Chancery Lane, so i think my next move would be Notting Hill Gate

I now wonder if the tubes have directional (one way) routes?

If I explain it to you (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mornington_Crescent_(game), then I'd simply be Kirk talking about Fizzbin to get A piece of the Action (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fizzbin#Fizzbin). If you Mind the Gap! (http://www.propertyinvesting.net/cgi-script/csNews/image_upload/specialreports_2edb.London%20Tube%20Map.gif) and follow the dots, then you'll be on the right track. The game is afoot, old chap. Good luck!

I say, hardly seems a legal move to me old chap. I'd say Cannon Street is far more likely.
