Hello fellow knitters.

Can someone tell me waht the following numbers are for? I feel silly asking this but it drives me nuts when i don't know what they stand for? bust? hips?

I believe the first measurement is bust, the 2nd, waist, and the 3rd, hips.

Thanks DeMonica. I appreciate your help. Wow this girl has a size 23 waist? What the heck do they eat? Just air. lol.. Hahaha.

If anyone is a size 23 waist. Please let me know what you do to keep it that small? lol

It's in inches for US and in cm for Europe, but a 60cm waist is model size...

I had a 21" waist when I got married 34 yrs ago. I was curvy, but still small all over and it was a pain to find clothing that didn't gap at the waist. I didn't do anything to maintain it..hence the reason I am no longer that small.

:teehee: My ring size when I got married was 4.5 so I was pretty small all over. My ring size now is 5.5 so I'm a little bigger. ;)

I never did unless I was 10. In HS I was skinny - 5'6" and 112 lbs, but I had a 26" waist. Runs in the family, one of my tiny, skinny aunts had a large waist too.

Me, too but I just can't find the darn thing now...Hubby aka Master George used to fuss at me for being too skinny. Chasing after kids, being his housemaid and working for peanuts was my trick! :teehee:

The real thing is that she is most likely 5'10" or something, but when that camera adds 10 pounds maybe she looks OK, not starving.

At first I though it was stitch counts..

Guess I forgot I was in the "Off Topic" section. LOL

Back in high school I had a 32 in waist. The actor that wore the Darth Vader costume had a 50 inch chest.

Other useless measurement....

At his top condition, Lou [Farrigno] had a 58" (147 cm) chest, 23" (58 cm) arms, 29" (74 cm) thighs, 20" (51 cm) calves and a 34" (86 cm) waist.
