Here are a few recently finished projects:

I wanted a Spring cardie and decided on Mr Greenjeans from Knitty. Fortunately I had plenty of yarn in my stash for it just all in different colors so I just knit with a color until it ran out and then started a new one. It was fun! :) The yarn is Novita 7 Veljestä.

I have been interested in Tapestry Crochet for some time and have only now got around to trying a flat piece. I used a dk weight 100% mercereized cotton and size 3.5mm crochet hook. The deer chart is from Enchanted Knitting.

What a great idea for the Mr. Greenjeans! Pretty spring colors, and a great way to use up stash yarn. The wall hanging is amazing!

Fun colors on the sweater. The tapestry is really nice. The deer makes me think of a Dr. Suese (I can't spell the name, you know the guy who did all the cool rhyming stories for kids) deer, with a remarkable set of horns. :)

:) I never thought of the deer looking like a Seuss deer but you are right! My dh hates it because he says it looks like it's back is broken with the way the legs are flipped over... Oh well, can't please everyone!

The deer design is actually taken from an ancient tattoo discovered on a mummy in Central Asia (according to the book). I liked the historical aspect of it.

It does not look like it's back is broken! It's lovely. And I had no idea you could do that with crochet.
