View Full Version : FO: Rainy Day Socks
These socks have been riding around in my bag for several weeks. They're not really spring socks, so I'll probably save them for next winter. The pattern is Rainy Day Socks by Yuliya Sullivan, a free Ravelry download (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/rainy-day-socks) I modified the pattern to use sock yarn instead of sport. Cast on 52 stitches for the picot cuff, then increased to 60 for the rest of the sock. I love this pattern - it’s easy to memorize and makes a nice, stretchy sock. The yarn is KnitPicks Essential in Burgundy.

Very pretty! Just love that color!
Guess in Texas you don't wear socks much during the spring and summer, but we can wear them year around up here, especially in the evening. Have to add that pattern to my 'to-do list'. Actually, my 'never get done list', it's so long! :)

I really like those Slim!! I actually am in the process of making my first pair of socks - if I have any success, I think I'll make this pattern my second pair!
