Hubby has made a request...

Fisherman's (Cabled/Aran type) sweater. He wants it to have the collar on it though in more of a v-neck design versus a round collar and has a couple of buttons. Anyone know of a similar pattern I could use/get for this type of project?

The Vintage Knits book looks like one I need to buy/check out from library. They have a sweater who's collar is JUST what I'm looking for. I'll just do a cabled fisherman sweater with a cable pattern my DH likes and meld with this particular type of collar. THANK YOU!! I'd scrolled through SO many patterns online and in Ravelry and was just Fried.

Just give me a few millineum and I'll hopefully get it done. LOL... Seriously, I'm hoping to start working on a cable chart as soon as I get some clearer ideas from hubby as to the type(s) of cables he wants.

Figure if I'm gonna have to make one for him, I might as well make exactly what he wants and then I'm going to force him to live in it day and night for the rest of his life. LOL.
