View Full Version : Sharing some WIP's (Tree of Life, Frida, & Winter Mountains Scarf)

I don't think I have ever shared any of my projects here (except for my signature blurb!)
I spent the morning horrifying my neighbors as usual by taking pictures of knitting out in the yard.
Here is the Tree of Life afghan I am working on. It's a lot of fun!
Here is the Frida poncho- I love leaves & trees:
Here is the Winter Mountains scarf- it looks like a dogs breakfast because it's in progress and not blocked. This is handspun alpaca (from Louie) & it's a little thick & thin in spots.
Hopefully this picture posting bit works... I think I figured it out with Jan's sticky note. Please let me know if they're too big or I didn't do it right.

That's a great size to post! They're easy to see and won't affect users with dial-up or small monitors.
Those are beautiful! That afghan looks complicated!

It is the "Winter Mountains Scarf" from the book Knit Ponchos, Wraps & Scarves. (http://www.amazon.com/Knit-Ponchos-Wraps-Scarves-Davis/dp/0873499654/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1241017578&sr=8-1) The written directions are incorrect, but if you follow the chart you're fine.
