Ok...so this isn't knitting, but I thought I would share it here.
This is the Umagurumi Dolphin. I made it for the lady who works at the Attendance desk at my children's high school. I worked at the desk for a month before budget cuts axed me and put me back in the classroom as a sub. She and I grew very close as that is a very stressful job.
The mascot of the school is the dolphin...hence my choice for her.

You can purchase the pattern here (http://www.edafedd.etsy.com/). The instructions are very easy and detailed. The designer responds quickly to questions. Kudos!
I used Bernat Softee Chunky in Grey Heather...a little over a skein. The dolphin measures 19 1/2" from nose to tail. Yeah, pretty big, and a bit embarrassing to carry in to the school. It's hard to find a bag that big!
Especially since I didn't want to squish the tail fins, which are my favorite parts!!

If I had to do anything over, I would not have stuffed the body quite so much, but I would have added a bit more stuffing to the tail base.
Thanks for looking!
