I just loved this knit! It's Amanda's Squatty Sidekick (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/amandas-squatty-sidekick) (Ravelry Link). It's knit with Paton's Soy Wool Solids in Natural. Felted in my kitchen sink. This stuff felts wonderfully and really fast (I like to leave a little stitch definition). I made the ICord on the handle about 7" instead of the 3" called for in the pattern. Finished dimensions approx 11"W x 6"H x 4"D x 21"handle.
The embroidery was done using chain stitches, and I dyed the leftover of the 2nd ball of Soy Wool using Lemon-Lime Kool Aid for the green, Pink Lemonaid Crystal Light for the light pink and Strawberry-Kiwi Crystal Light for the dark pink. My first time dying, it was really fun!
The lining was pretty fiddly. I added some interfacing because the bag was really slouchy.
You can see lots more photos and info in my Ravelry projects. Thanks for looking!
After felting, but before finishing:
