What you are doing is an increase through back loops. If you go to the video section you will find an excellent video. If you want an story to remember then here is Cat Bordhi's way to do it:

She has lots of videos and I like her approach to doing them. She makes it interesting as I just did her wrap video and shared it with a friend form my knitting group at the LYS.

I think the videos on the increase page for KLL/KRL would be the same. You insert the needle into the back loop of the next st or st below the one on your right needle.

m1tbl = Make One Table
usualy you will find this near a couple of
m1chr = Make One Chair
also writen as m4chr = Make Four Chairs
