Yesterday, I stumbled upon a blog that showed a picture of a beautiful sweater (http://www.skinnyrabbit.com/imagenes/patterns/spring2004_audrey_rowan.jpg) which was inspired by Audrey Hepburn and designed by Kay Hargreaves. It was originally published in Rowan 35 (magazine). I cannot find the pattern anywhere or the ability to purchase an old copy of the magazine. Rowan does not have it on their website.

Can anyone help?

THe link didn't work for me, but you should try e-bay for the magazine. Set it up as a automatic search and they will email you when it gets listed. Also try ravelry. They have at least one buy/sell/trade forum.

Apparently you can't link to just the picture. Probably a copyright thing, but here's the page link. Scroll down to see the FO.

I found a few of the books, but you'll have to check if they are in stock or whatever.

Here's one on eBay that says it's in Canada-

Jan-Thanks for the links. Got a question (to everyone)...

Since this book is out-of-print, is it illegal to ask if someone can just give me the pattern? The eBay item is $30 plus $12 for shipping and I really only want the one pattern. I don't want to do anything illegal. I just really like the pattern.

IMHO, someone could tear out the pages of the mag and give/mail just those sheets to you.

I think it would be a copywrite issue to photocopy the pages and give you copies.

Mirl,

I didn't think about asking anyone if they would part with the pattern! Great idea!! I definitely do not want to break any copyright laws...and making a copy of it would do that.

Thanks!

So...to anyone who owns the Rowan 35 magazine, would you mind parting with the pages for the Audrey pattern??
