On a pattern for a washcloth, the abbreviation for the first stitch in all right side rows is "B". What does this stand for?

Here's the instruction:

"Row 2: B2,k3,*ssk,k5,yo,* end k1,B2."

Border? I would think it's saying to keep the first and last stitches as border stitches. Usually garter stitch. It's used for patterns that tend to curl, like stockinette, to keep it flat. So I would knit the first and last 2 stitches of each row.

Usually that means Border for the border sts.
