View Full Version : Lace Sampler Scarf

This was actually a very quick and fun knit. I used one skein of Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool. The pattern actually calls for lace or fingering wt yarn but my choice worked well.

The pattern is from Franklin Habit; he "translated" a Victorian lace sampler pattern and it can be found at Knitty here:

That's beautiful!! A very clever idea for a pattern -- if you only do a little bit of each pattern you wouldn't get bored. I like lace patterns worked in heaver weight yarns, and yours is lovely. Nice work.

It's lovely! I've never seen anything like this before, but it's gorgeous. I love the creamy colour too.

Oh WOW! This scarf is a real beauty! I love your color choice, and of course, nothing can beat Silky Wool for "class"! You should be very proud of this scarf!
