Got it done!!!! Whoo Hoo! I'm so excited!:woot: It would have been done sooner, but I got waylaid on the finishing -- tassles...... Finishing is not my favorite things to do, I must say.
AND I learned how to knit an I-cord onto a finished project for a nice, finished look -- that was kinda interesting.
It's the Andean Chilean Hat from KnitPicks. It was a kit and I have enough to make 4 more, I think. I don't know if that's the good news or the bad news. I had to look at every single stitch I made....

That is absolutely beautiful! And you're right, the I-cord gives it a real finished look doesn't it! Congratulations!

That is just the coolest hat. Now I want to make one, but I'd be so afraid to try.

Okay, OffJumpsJack.... I'm gonna be singing that song the rest of the day! I'll be smilin'!
Chrysee, give it a try -- Here's what I did. I worked on it a bit at a time, then switched to an easier project. (It's not hard, really, you just have to stay focused and watch every stitch and have a good system for keeping your place on the pattern.) I don't think I worked on it more than an hour at a time. And I used Post its to keep my place on the pattern. I'm sure you could do it!

That is just WONDERFUL!!! I have the yarn and the hat pattern but haven't gotten "motivated" yet. I would like to make it for my daughter for Christmas.

Beautiful!! You did a great job. That will be so fun to wear for whoever is so lucky. I can see your point of the prospect of making 3 more the same. I'm not that keen on repeats, but it should get easier. ;-)
