I'm looking for a fairly simple hat to knit using US9 circs. I have been searching for a pattern for several days, and none that I've found have suited my fancy (or my wimpy knitting skills). I have some Caron Simply soft in my stash that I want to use (3 7oz skeins: one each in dark sage, chocolate, and persimmon).

Can anyone suggest a good simple pattern? If I can avoid using DPNs until the last few rows I would like to, but whatever.

Thanks :D

So you want one knitted in the round? The biggest problem is going to be finding one with that size needle.

Here's one that uses an 8, but you may be able to get away with a 9.

Thanks, Jan!

I guess I might have to go out and get some 7 and 8 circs. I'm not known for my needle-purchasing competence... I need to work on that as much as my confidence
