Hi All! Does anyone know a pattern on how to knit a pair of simple socks on size 5 dpns using sock/fingering weight yarn? I may be way off here, because I know most patterns use size 0-3, but the smallest size I have are 4. Thanks for any help gang! :knitting:

They usually us the smaller needles because if you knit socks in fingering weight on size 5 needles it would be more like lace and wouldn't be sturdy at all. I don't think you'll find a pattern for fingering weight and that large of needles.

For the size 4 or 5 I suggest using sport or DK weight.
