I was watching a video & I saw something that I REALLY like & want to make :knitting:.
However I don't know what its called so finding it is troublesome :wall: :hair: :gah: :pout:.

(NOTE : this video may be against peoples' religion/beliefs or judgements, however I believe people have a life to live how they want because it feels right to them & makes them happy. If you have a problem, you don't have to watch it & leave negative comments here nor there.
This post is NOT about what's right & what's wrong, its about that coat/jacket of-some-sort [or similar to it] that I want to knit, but don't know where to start. And I couldn't get a good snap-shot of the full look, so I thought it would be easier just to show the video.)

Start at 1:08 - its the young lady (model) that walks by.

if at all possible, preferably with a hoodie (I like hoodies), if not, w/out one is fine.

It looks like it is crocheted to me, and very like a late 1960's/early 70's coat. I love it. I would start looking at vintage patterns from around that period.

I found some that are similar, like its a cross between lopi/kimono coat & motif kimono coat. I better start on learning crocheting, if I can't, I'll knit my way around it. Thanks n.n

There is something similar in this book:

If you can find it at the library, it is one of the first patterns, done in dark blue.

I've seen this sweater on an actress in a movie , but I can't remember the movie.

Someone has already asked about this sweater and someone found a picture of it before but I can find the post. I hope you get help. I like the sweater too.
