I saw this skirt and scarf combo in the window of a shop in Rome:

I'm just wondering if anyone could suggest a pattern for a similar skirt, or for the scarf? either would be welcome!

The skirt reminds me of Knitty's, Hip in Hemp (http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer07/PATThemp.html), though that's a lacy pattern and the one you saw could be cabled. But H in H is wavy and you could do a purl ridge as in a regular F&F pattern.

Feather and Fan pattern. You won't find it among the abbreviations, it's just shorthand because it's a long name.
