You could do Palindrome (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/palindrome-a-reversible-cable-scarf) in bulkier yarn. I think there's one on the Lion website too. I found another that has the larger ribs, Allegra's Scarf (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/allegras-scarf).

Here's a pattern for a reversible cable scarf:

The directions give you directions for making one version in super bulky yarn AND another one using worsted weight yarn.
