Wise Ones,

When it comes to starting a new project I'm my own worst enemy. I can never decide. I have a couple of ideas for sweaters and tons of stashed yarn to choose from. Can you help me?

I have 5 skeins of Malabrigo merino worsted in Orchid (http://www.loopyarn.com/Detail.asp?ProductID=45540) and 10 skeins of Cascade 220 in Sapphire Heather (http://www.yarncountry.com/Cascade-Cascade-220-Sapphire-Heather--9456-p1213.aspx?AFID=AFD3)

I have 2 sweater patterns I'm thinking of making. One is Nora's Sweater (http://www.knittingdaily.com/blogs/daily/archive/2009/12/02/sweater-workshop-nora-s-sweater.aspx) from Interweave Knits and the other is Cables and Flowers Top Down Cardigan (http://sweaterbabe.com/knitting-patterns/cables_flowers_top-down_assymetrical_cardi.htm) from Sweater Babe. They both look like fun and challenging projects.

I was thinking of trying the Cables and Flowers in the Malabrigo and Nora's Sweater in the Cascade. What do you think? Will I tear my hair out cause the Malabrigo pills so very much? Will the Cascade be soft enough? Ah, decisions, decisions! Help!

I've never used either yarn, so I'm no help there. Both sweaters are super-cute, though.

For a cardigan, I'm not so sure I'd worry overly about the yarn being 'soft enough' as you'd always have a 'layer', at least a tank top if not a long sleeve shirt, on between the sweater and skin.
