Anybody here done it?
I was in my LYS the other day, looking for a fast easy project. there was a lovely broomstick lace scarf and the salesperson said it was amazingly easy. Now I consider myself an "intermediate" knitter, cables Fair Isle and easy lace are no problem. So when she told me how it was done I thought EASY BREEZY, I can knock that off in a weekend.
BOY WAS I WRONG!!! SOmething abou that big fat needle and huge crochet hook has turned me into a blithering idiot. I have done the first row 10 times and it looks like crap, and takes FOREVER.
I've watched the viedos and it certainly looks like it should be easy. I wqonder if it's because I don't crochet and usually use a size 2 knitting needle NOT a size 50!!
Any words of wisdom???
