Love! Love! Love this pattern. Very easy to knit. I made this market bag for one of my best girlfriends. If you want the backstory you can go here (http://knitsy.blogspot.com/2010/02/fo-everlasting-bagstopper.html).

Love the bag!! It looks great! How much yarn of Lion Brand Cotton Ease does it take to make one of these?? Thanks for your reply.

Thank you so much. I believe I used one and a half balls of yarn or a little under.

I just ordered 2 skeins of the hemp for knitting allhemp6 in brick! I've never knitted with hemp before, so it will be exciting to try it. Hope my bag turns out as well as yours did!

Great job on your bagstopper!

I absolutely love how you did the handles. I have an unfinished one in cream cotton-ease, wasn't happy with several different handle attempts so put it away a couple months ago. Now I think I can finish mine (hope you don't mind, they do say that imitation is the best form of flattery).
