i'm a bit confused with this pattern. it said
next rnd: k2tog, yo, repeat all round
knit in stocknette st for the next 7 rnds

my confusion is that i don't know when to start the stockentte st
thanks.

Put a marker on at the beginning of your rounds, k2tog yo until the end of it, then switch to stockinette.
