FO-DD's blanket

I finally finished knitting this today! Ran out of yarn last night when I had just a few rows left so I had to make a run to Walmart today. I used Bernat Baby Coordinates in Misty Mauve I think it's called. It took 2 skeins plus a tiny bit of another...I prolly had extra stitches somewhere.

Aww, poor baby. :( But, her new blanket looks great! I like the border on it. Is it seed stitch?

For the border I used a yarn-over increase, and a K2tog,yarn over, k2tog decrease...not sure if that's a seed stitch or not :lol:

My younger son used to have an amazing tolerance for pain - however, even a pinprick of blood would cause the hugest hysteria...your picture reminded me of him sobbing "is it blood? is it blood?" He is 15 now - they grow so fast :rollseyes:
