I finished my Lucy tonight. The felting happened faster than it took to load my pre-felted pictures in my Kodak gallary! I would definitely felt Malabrigo again! I highly recommend it! I can't wait til it's dry, this will be my first bag for myself...I've made several bags for every girl in my family.

It's a Two Old Bags pattern...Here (http://www.knitwitts.com/item/The_Lucy_Bag/1991) is the pattern on a website, but I picked mine up at my LYS. It's a great pattern and the book gives about 4 or 5 different sizes to make...
Thanks for the nice comments, everyone! I can't wait to start using it!

I just made one of those bags in a solid color. I'm glad I gave it away, because YOUR yarn choice is spectacular (which means when I do mine, i will choose something besides a solid color)!

Andrea! You did a great job! The bag is beautiful! I'm guessing you like purple! HA! Only recently have I started gravitating towards purple, and wow there are so many shades to choose from! My girls are lovin it.
Again, wow! It looks great!

Andreaa, I love it!!!! I have been thinking about making a Lucy for myself..........now I MUST!! Which size did you make?

Once again, thanks everyone!
Margie, I made the large bag (worsted weight), but I did 120 rows for the large strap, I didn't want it with the 200 row shoulder strap.
I'd say it's A LOT smaller than it should be, but I really like the end result! My bags NEVER look like the pictures in the pattern.
And yes, Pixy, I  purple! :D

I found the bag to be smaller, too, Andrea. I did the next biggest one, and it wasn't the dimensions stated on the pattern. I have a suspicion, though, that I overfelt...
