View Full Version : FO - christmas stockings

More christmas presents - these stockings are for my brother and his girlfriend. This was my first time doing a toe up sock (http://wendyjohnson.net/blog/sockpattern.htm) with short rows which took a little getting used to but definitely worked great after I got the hang of it. The yarn I used was Wool of the Andes (http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/itemid_5420103/yarn_display.aspx) in amethyst heather and black cherry heather with Suri Dream (http://www.knitpicks.com/yarns/itemid_5420130/yarn_display) in natural for the accents on the top.

Me too!! I plan on buying lots and lots more of the knit picks wool. This was my first time using/felting it and I can't believe how well it turned out.

I like them both pre and post felting!
