Beginner Book... Found!!

Hi everyone...looking for a "good" beginner book...with patterns. Checked Amazon and Ebay, I am looking for the book that Amy mentions on her CD (when she is doing the complete sock pattern) Right now I don'f feel like loading the CD, but maybe someone out there has it and wants to sell it or swap. I have a nice "hat/scarf pattern book (won as a door prize, Leisure Arts Family Accessories) more advanced than I have time for.... Thanks Cheley

Please don't take this as a statement about your intelligence, but the book I found most helpful when learning to knit was The Complete Idiot's Guide to Crochet and Knitting. I don't have a copy, but you might try your local library. It has some nice basic patterns.

Beginners books that I bought were the Stitch-n-Bitch and the Knitters Bible.
