FO - Shimmer socks in LL

These are my Shimmer socks (http://www.magknits.com/Mar07/patterns/shimmer.htm)!!!

Knit in LL Sand Ridge. I used a short row toe, and a gusset heel knit "backwards" as described in Sensational Knitted Socks (where the heel flap ends up being under your heel and you pick up stitches on a horizontal line instead of vertical). I put in a picot edge at top and used a stretchy sewn bind off (http://www.woolywonder.com/classpages/sewncastoff/sewncastoff.htm) to finish it.


They fit perfectly and I :heart: them!

ooh, pretty! I was thinking my LL jeans colorway would be good for these socks. Too bad my DH just hijacked it for me to make him socks of a different pattern. They are perfect!!!
