Hi'ya! :waving:
I am very pleased with this scarf for more than one reason!
1) it is my first more complicated lacy scarf
2) it was made with STASH YARN! :woot:
3) it taught me the value of LIFELINES!
4) it was made to go with my OPAL cardigan!
Anyway, it took me eons to finish because I took too many "knitting sidetrips" along the way! But, it is finally DONE! :happydance:
It is not as delicate looking as some Branching Out scarves I've seen...but, I still like it!

Scarf was made to "go with" this OPAL cardigan.

The lowcut neckline is chilly. I wear it with a camisole top, so my neck feels cool inside air-conditioned buildings. I am going to make a camisole top for OPAL later on. Will have to buy additional yarn.
The scarf will feel good around the neckline.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again (my agedness allows repetition! :teehee:):
It means a thousand times more to me to receive your kudos than anyone else's in the world! :muah:

It's just beautiful! I like it more in this yarn than other Branching Out scarves I've seen, and it goes perfectly with your sweater. Lovely work.

As "lace" scarves go, I think this one was the easiest because the pattern is only worked from the right side. (The wrong side is a resting row. You just knit the knits and purl the purls as they present themselves.) It is a good first-time lacey scarve because of this feature.
I am glad you liked it, and thanks to all for your kind words!

I love it!! And knowing there is a resting row is very encouraging. I have been itching to try lace and this looks like the one to start with. And yay you for using yarn from your stash!:notworthy:

I must confess, I tried a different lacy pattern before BRANCHING OUT...forget what pattern...and the other lacy pattern kicked my behind! It was worked from BOTH SIDES...aaargh...and it was not fun AT ALL. I need more experience in lace work. I especially forget those dern YarnOvers. It was really hard for me to keep track of where I was at with "real lace" work! It was like hacking through a thick, primitive, untouched-by-man South American jungle! I just couldn't ever see the path! I'd get all disoriented and discomboobulated!
So, I frogged (big relief)...the ultimate power move...and tried Branching Out because I could detect it's wrong side resting rows! Resting rows are like a homebase!
Anyway, I also started USING lifelines, installing them on the resting row at the end of a repeat.
