Knitting War

I just read an article in the Wall Street Journal about Knitting wars. Each participant recieves the shoe size of someone they must "kill." Every knitter must follow the same pattern, which is given when they recieve their target. Once you finish knitting your sock, you ship it to your target, thereby killing them. That person must then send you the sock that they were working on to let you finish it and send it off to kill someone else, hopefully before you yourself are hit. It sounds like so much fun! It would be great to see a sock war on here!

Sock Wars (the name of the game, rather than "knitting wars") just finished its second year. It's great fun. I'd encourage anybody who has even the vaguest interest to give it a go next year, assuming The Monkey feels up to a third year.

The pattern is generally pretty simple. Couple it with Silver's Sock class and you're good to go! ^_^
