I finished this last weekend while out of town with my daughter at a soccer camp.
I made this for my friend who just started chemotherapy. She's the friend I made the comfort throw for. I chose this color because my daughter, who's good friends with the gal's daughter, thought she wouldn't like a bright color.
My friend came over this week to let me show her how to use a juicer, and I showed her the stack of hats that have been coming in for Mason's mom. The pink one I made (same pattern) was in there, and she commented on how much she liked it.
Before she left, I gave her this one (pictured below), along with a few other goodies. She was THRILLED! It warms my heart to do things for people when they don't expect it.

Here's (http://www.headhuggers.org/patterns/kpatt10.htm) where you can find the pattern. One of these days I'm going to buy the yarn the pattern calls for to get a finished product that looks like the picture.
I bought my yarn at KnitWitz (http://store.knitwitzinc.com/), in Jacksonville. I used Rowan Calmer, color #461 and Trendsetter's Eyelash yarn, color #49. The Calmer is amazingly soft...it's a cotton/polyester blend.
Thanks for looking!
