I ran across this program while searching the internet for information on graphing cables. I have become addicted to cables but find graphs mcuh easier to knit with. I've tried converting written patterns to graphs with a penci and graph paper and found my error rate is high.

Has anyone used this or any other cable graphing program? There is a free one on the internet but it is very limited in what it can do and I have not yet been able to successfully use it.

This program is $49.00, which would be well worth it, IF IT WORKS!!!

I like the way cables are charted in the "Charted Knitting Designs" book by Barbara Walker. It is still available on Amazon.com and probably in your library.

Thanks but I am looking for an easy way to convert longhand cable instruction to graphs without having to do it by hand.

For example, I am getting ready to start the Cable Jacket pattern featured in Prima 2006

and don't want to use the written instructions, I would love a GRAPH but also don't want to risk an error by translating it myself.

Thank you! I have looked at that one and if you notice the list of stitches it recognizes is VERY limited. It's a good start but it really isn't usable for anything other than a plain cable.
