As some of you know I am spending a year in Slovenia...actually it is starting to extend to longer (how much longer, not sure) but recently I visited a farm that has been in exsistence since the 1600's. It is in such a remote and difficult to travel to part of the country that most everything has been preserved. Up in the attic...look what I found!!!

very cool. flax, part of a wheel - what's the chair?? looks like it doesn't have a seat

It was a type of carder. The rough section was at the bottom.
