Noro Silk Garden Yarn Substitute

A friend and I are looking for a yarn that would be a suitable substitute for Noro Silk Garden to do entrelac. Does anyone know of any other yarn that changes color similarly to Silk Garden but is less expensive? Many thanks.

Patons SWS is popular, it's very soft, with pretty colors. I've used malabrigo, too.
