View Full Version : Another blankie
Just finished this one for Project Linus. I had the variegated yarn leftover, and bought some lavender to go with it. It's a pseudo-log cabin thing. It was quick and easy!

I like it a lot. Very soothing colors, yet spicy enough to entice a child to pick it up. I love your log cabin effect. Cool!

Very nice for someone to own. Is it all garter stitch? I love garter stitch, but I also appreciate the work that goes into it. I always feel like it is one step forward and half a step back. Slow going. Looks nice though and makes such cozy thick blankets.

Merigold - yes, all garter stitch. It's a bit slow (especially on size 8 needles) but the nice thing is that it's easy to do while watching TV. ;) It ended up about 40" x 44". I wanted it more rectangular, but that's what happened and I was ready to be done with it!! Thanks for the nice comments, everyone. :aww:
