Hello,

I am brand new to this site and need a little help. I am knitting a baby bootie and the pattern says to rejoin the thread to previously knitted threads. How do I do this? Thanks

Just take the strand of yarn and begin knitting with it. Leave a long enough tail to weave in when you're done.

Thanks! Guess I was making it much too complicated!!

Most things about knitting are easier than you think and mostly just common sense.

A frien of mine makes a new slip knot and knits 2 tog (knit 2 stitches together) with the 1st original stitch on the needle. Works a treat and very secure

good idea, really, when the fabric is dense enough that that stitch does not show through. I have done stuff similar to that before (like a knot around the needle. But the slip knot is good.
