HELP me Recreate My Sock Mistake!

I made these off the top of my head not long after I started knitting. I'd made only 1 or 2 pairs of socks by then and I remember having made an error in the heel/gusset part but didn't write down what I did. I'm trying to recreate this, these are the only pics I took. I like how the stitches are directed on the bottom of the foot.

:wall: I am wearing out my yarn frogging this (it's bulky yarn, Lion Brand Thick n Quick).....can anyone help me figure out how I made the heel stitches be parallel to the bottom of the foot?!? :hmm:

did you knit toe up or bottom down? you should be able to see that by the open edge (if you still have the socks - but it sounds like you don't) or maybe you remember that?

It was top down. No, I don't have them or I would have deconstructed them by now, they are about 7000 mi. away :(

Absolutely. It will be a free pattern. I made it 3 years ago, it's a one-day knit and I was hoping to get it written up for Christmas gifts ;)
