i am making this scarf and i don't under stand what the pattern is saying so i wrote the pattern out under neath but the in the pattern it calles for 2 different colors but the yarn that i am useing it has different colors in it so but the things in the ( ) i am not uesing because the yarn as different colors in brackets is where i don't understand . thank you for your help Happy Thanksgiving

rows3 thought 6 Rep Row 1 and 2 and 6 ( cut (black) and attach (taupe).)

If you're going to do it all in a single multicolor yarn, then just forget about 'knit with color A for X rows, cut yarn and attach B color' and repeat rows 1 and 2 until it's the length you want.

yeah the pattern is worded weird (like they like to do).. but the stuff in the brackets is pretty much saying to do 52 lines all odds line one and all evens- line 2 (to repeat the pattern) they say repeat rows 1 and 2 26 times equalling a total of 52 lines before you switch back to the other color.. but like susie said- you can just continue to do the pattern until its the length you would like since you are not going to be switching colors
