This is sooooooo cool! As I was watching them sort and sort and sort...I JUST KNEW they'd have to hoist it up to the loft! WOW!!!
Thanks for sharing this great link with us!
I uploaded the YouTube video for you into your post! It's so neat!

Thanks so much for this video! I love the pictures of all the balls of yarn popping around as they unwind.
I wonder what her gauge was?

Some negative, poo-poo people left negative comments on the YouTube EXTREME KNITTING page, like "what a waste of yarn!" and "what a waste of time!" and "WHY???!!!!!!!!!", etc. etc.
I left this message: "Folks prolly said the same thing about Michelangelo and his Sistine Chapel"
And in response to the very dumb question "WHY?????????!!!!!!"....
I answered, "Because she can......."
I personally think the "cushion" she created was gorgeous! Some people would PAY BIG BUCKS for it!!!!! Does anyone know, did she sell it?

What an artistic endeavour! Loved watching it come together. Amazed that there wasn't more tangling of yarns. I spent an hour and a half yesterday untangling just two balls.
Would love to see it in person. Are those small trees she's knitting with?

Here's more about Rachel John-Extreme Textiles/History of Extreme Knitting.
Wonder where she gets all that yarn to do this?:??
I can't believe anyone has the patience to do this. It's certainly a work of art.
