Knitting related question--baby booties

One of my mom's close friends has just had twin great-grandbaby boys. About five or six weeks ago, Mom asked me if I could knit baby booties for them. I found an adorable pattern for cowboy booties, and I got to work on them. Well, I got busy with other things, the babies were born yesterday, and I have only one complete booty! I have the bottom portion of the other three booties completed. My question is, do you think if I completed the other three booties in the next couple of weeks, the booties might still fit? The booties are approx. 3.75" long and about 1.5" wide. Both babies weighed about 7 lbs. Here is a link to a photo of the completed bootie on Flickr.

Oh those booties are adorable! The measurements I have recommend 3" for a 5-7 lb baby. So get to work and finish those booties. You may be just in time and the parents will love them anyway.

Here's a foot size chart (http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/size-chart.html#foot), I don't think they'll grow all that much in a few weeks, though you might have it a little on the short side. 4" might be a little better.

Maybe the yarn will stretch? My little guy had the tiniest feet for so long it seems before they started to plump up LOL. They are super adorable!!
