I don't think I understand the directions for knitting a letter of the alphabet in the corner. They give a chart and with the instructions to "work sts for initial as reverse st st--p on right side". That block is knitting in stockingnet stitch. Please help me!

stockinette stitch is knit on the right side, purl on the wrong side. Revese stockinetis the opposite: purl on the right side, knit on the wrong side.
