Hello!
I'm new to knitting and I'm a little confused...a pattern calls for a couple k2tog's in a row..and then to pearl every other row. So my question is, when I'm pearling and I come to the stiches where I've knitted 2 together, do I pearl it as one whole stich or do i separate them and pearl them as 2?

Knitting 2 tog creates one st, you don't work them separately on the next row.

You would purl it as one whole stitch. As Suzeeq said, k2tog creates one stitch, so you would work it as one stitch.
