View Full Version : Interchangeable Knitting Needle Question

Hello everyone,

I just left a pretty knifty knitting sale at Michaels! Got several Loops&Threads Charisma yarn for $.99, but the true deal was purchasing a Wright's (BOYE) Interchangeable Needle set for $17.50! :woot: I know, there are better sets, but it usually sells for $70, so...I had to grab it up! The only thing is, it was an "AS IS" set, and though all the needle sizes were there and the other accessories, the all important circular cables were not, which is what made it 'as is'. Now, my ? is this--where might i be able to purchase separately, the different lengths of circular cables? Are the cable made differently for all the interchangeable sets out there? Is it possible that if I buy a 29" cable from say, KnitPicks, or Denise will it fit the interchangeable set I got for a steal? Any help you could give is as always, greatly appreciated!

Hobby Lobby carries the Needlemaster replacement part or you can order them from the company (http://www.simplicity.com/c-475-needlemaster-set-replacement-parts.aspx).

I like the needle head but the cable I do not like. If you search the web there are sites explaining how to make your own.
