help with pattern

hello im knitting a baby jacket but im stuck on pattern. done left front ok but right front i have to work same 8 rows of pattern then work one more for right front which leaves me on purl row. then cast off 3 sts which is on purl row , done that.then it says to omit one row but stay in pattern dec 1st on next row. if i miss out row then next row would be purl but its a knit side on pattern any advice would be helpful.

Maybe it means to omit a decrease on this row but to stay in pattern and decrease one stitch on the next row. You basically want the right side to mirror the left side decreases and you don't want to interrupt the pattern sequence. Can you tell us what the pattern is or give a link to the pattern?
